Squeeze is an amazingly structural piece of art. The artist Lucy Brown creates these awesome sculptures out of old garments, she reworks, unpicks, weaves and cuts these old clothes to create these thought provoking sculptures. These piece plays on how women in society reconstruct their bodies to make them more conventionally beautiful and also reflects society's obsession with thinness. I find it very interesting when an artist has a take on social issues and i find that Lucy Brown brings her point forward very intelligently and interestingly. and her sculptures are amazing to look at!
